Each bar is parsed ingredient-by-ingredient against our canonical scoring schema. Beneficial ingredients push the score up; problematic ones drag it down. Position in the list is weighted - what comes first matters more. Brand score = median across all scored flavors.
A composite of three signals: protein efficiency (60%) - how much protein per calorie; low sugar (25%) - less sugar scores better; high fiber (15%) - more fiber scores better. Brand score = median across all flavors. Directionally correct, not a perfect measurement.
